During World War 1, The Netherlands decided to stay neutral and didn’t join the war. However, in some ways the war did affect The Netherlands. This is the story about Sluis, a town near the Dutch / Belgian border. On the 1st of October, the British accidentally bombed Sluis instead of Belgium. This animation was an assignment during my bachelor, second year animation & illustration at AKV | St. Joost. It was made together with Okke van Breemen. I worked on illustrating the backgrounds and animating together with Okke van Breemen. Exhibited at Huis Doorn and Museum Veenendaal.
